Nothing to see yet But Plenty to come

To whoever may read,

So here I am. I’m still in the preliminary stages of getting everything up and running. I haven’t let anyone know about this site yet so theoretically no one should be reading this. But I’m posting anyway to get used to putting my thoughts here in this space.

I’ve been doing a lot of work these past few weeks. I’ve got three stories atm with completed drafts. But I’ll be releasing them using separate methods at the same time. One I’m going the traditional route and am in the process of querying agents which is a job on its own. Simultaneously over the next couple months I’ll be releasing two different web novels out into digital void. So my main focus has been to gather and develop promotional material and come up with a plan for one of them—Archas Knights. It’ll be the first story I officially release.

If you look at the menu under web novels, you can find more info about it there. Otherwise here’s a short pitch along with the book cover I spent all night making.

Archas Knights: The Immortal Spring Forest

She watched her mother become a wrath — a curse by spirits —and swore she’d never forgive the world that stole her away. While looking to become a knight to protect the world against spirits, Reba Kotter saves a a wrath named Cen. Together they attempt to fight their way through the spirit-infested Immortal Spring Forest which contains the only way to cure Cen of her curse—a cure Reba wished her mother would’ve had.

I’m thinking the cover turned at well. (Canva does wonders for marketing on a budget.) But the current plan is to release this chonker of a story in bi-weekly episodic installments. I’m almost at a point where I’m ready to put the first episode out there but a few more things I’ve got to take care of first. While its nerve wracking putting your stuff out there for the first time, its only nerve wracking because I’m so excited about the many different things I’ll be able to do when it comes to art, writing, and interacting with people about storytelling. But everything needs a foundation first. If I just post this story to Wattpad or my website on its own, its not likely to gain any traction as just a big ball of text. Visuals like this book cover can do wonders for capturing attention and you only get one first impression so I’m doing the background work to make it as good as I can. Just a little while longer.

So long story short, nothing yet to see here. But I’m cooking something in the oven that I think is worth seeing. So until everything is ready…

Peace and Love
