The accused is a local legend marked only by a red X tattooed across her right eye—a legend known for defending the innocent and signing her crime scenes with a painting. The biggest crime makes for the most immense painting. The Dead Girl's Dance. Which was painted by a girl only known as Mischief. This tale will follow several stories in a futuristic yet arcane city as Mischief searches for her false accuser and true culprit behind the bombing but, more importantly, the people inciting a rebellion around her. In response, Insomnian citizens begin to express themselves through their music and spoken word while others take to the streets with their fists and swords, preparing for war, But they all remain unaware of the cities seemingly supernatural enigmas.
